After I looked at the ECT Gown, it was very evident that it was designed by a patient caregiver for a patient. Being a seasoned hospital materials manager, it is fairly easy to discern a product that truly solves a problem and fills a need as opposed to just another product that has been released on the market. The ECT Gown is in a class of its’ own, and I’m sure it will be the mainstay patient gown across the country in hospitals in the near future.

I am impressed with the new gown, to say the least. I have visited the link to the surgical products page as well as your ectsolutions site. It’s truly about time that a gown that is actually suited to patient care and dignity was made. The openings for the central lines will reduce HAI and will provide easy access for nurses, etc. The pockets for drain tubes eliminates the fact that must tubes are hanging on the side of patient skin or bed. This pocket should reduce traction on the suture holding the drain in place. The tele monitor pocket and PEG tube opening is great. The overlapping back design for privacy is one of it’s best features. I look forward to seeing the gowns in action at the hospitals where I work!
Happy Holidays

ECT Gown gets FIVE STARS from Patient Safety Gear!!! For those of you who have not seen it, you must check out the website at http://ectsolutions.info . I had the pleasure of meeting Chantale, RN and Eric of ECT Solutions at a Broward Healthcare meeting and I was completely impressed with their ECT gown! Being an RN myself, I understand the need for such a highly functional gown. I only wish I could have had the ECT gown for my patients when I was working in the ICU. The gown definitely has it all, Chantale thought of everything when designing this gown as an ICU nurse would! Congratulations! July 2, 2011

Eric’s knowledge of the ECT Gown in conjunction with his professionalism and entrepreneurial skills makes him the best representative of the company and its product. I commend Eric for his drive, hard work and continued belief that this gown will make a difference for patients and the healthcare industry.
His passion is for the ECT Gown is clearly obvious due to his own personal experience as a patient in the hospital who had to endure the indignity of wearing a gown which was far from being modest. There is no doubt that very soon the ECT gown will be the standard in all hospitals because, patients’ dignity is foremost. It is a product that has the patient’s and Clinicians’ needs in mind. Being exposed should be the last thing a patient should have to worry about and, this product will alleviate these worries which in my opinion will result in a faster recuperation time. June 23, 2011

I have known Eric for the past year and have gotten to know him personally while I was supporting my organization’s request to find a universal gown that supported patient care and enhanced clinical outcomes; as Tulare Regional Medical Center has a diverse and complex patient population.
I come across many products that are both innovative in their design and often unique in their application. When I found the ECT Gown, I was extremely impressed. Clearly much thought was built into its design that directly supports patient safety. In essence, through the slits designed into the gown, lines and drains are exposed, thus helping to prevent hospital acquired infections, a huge initiative as it relates to being compliant to the Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
Eric was extremely pleasant to work with and clearly knowledgeable of his product. I always like a good story, and Eric certainly has his related to the inception of this product. After a hospital stay of his own, he partnered with his wife and the duo designed a product that by-in-large has had little innovation or clinical consideration in health care history.
I now that through Eric’s persistence and determination, along with his wife, this product will become a standard in hospitals world-wide. With this said, I strongly recommend Eric as a great partner and a knowledgable resource. June 18, 2011

Dear Eric,
Frances York from Crown Point, Indiana here! I wanted to write you to say, “thanks!” for providing me with the hospital gowns during my recent surgery. It has been 4 weeks now, so I am at home and healing. Every day brings with it new little accomplishments. I am thankful!
The Northwestern University Hospital team of nurses thought that the gown was great. It provided all the pockets and holes needed for all the tubes that they had on me. Even one of the directors who actually (I think) makes orders for gowns and such, saw the gown when I made my first walk down the hallway after surgery. The surgeon saw it as well – after the surgery, when I requested to be changed into the new gown. When I arrived at the hospital and went through prep time, I was not allowed to put the gown on. The team said that they were not able to use anything from outside, but that I would be welcome to put it on in my room after surgery….which is what I did. It was definitely more comfortable and modest than what I wore in surgery. I am now taking them when I go for my post-op visits – to continue “to show off” the gown. I gave the hospital personnel your web site. I hope that the attention was captured enough to where Northwestern might put in an order!
Thank you again for your kindness as well as the kindness of Mr. Mayo! It made things a little more bearable rather than “bareable” during my time at Northwestern!
Sincerely,
Frances York
